The Bar


Established in 2015, Cellar 8 Wine and Espresso Bar has quickly become a hot spot for food and wine lovers on the North Shore of Sydney. Whether you are looking for a post work drink, intimate dinner or group event, we are confident that we will be able to meet your needs.

Constantly evolving, our wine list has been hand selected and extensively tasted by Suzanne and Tony. Featuring wineries from the Margaret River, Southern Highlands, Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills, the Hunter Valley and many more we are confident that you will always find a glass or bottle to enjoy!

Created seasonally, Cellar 8’s food menu aims to provide a well balanced experience for all. Ranging from bar snacks including but not limited to our famous Garlic Bread you will never go hungry with our Slow Roasted Lamb Shoulder. Be sure to explore our website to find our current seasonal menu.

Being a Wine Bar and holding a small bar license, we are only permitted to serve those of legal drinking age.




The Family

Cellar 8 is the brainchild of Sue and Tony, a couple of Pohms who moved to Sydney from the UK in 2006. They have two children, Shannon and Serena, and have a passion for tasty food and wine. While Sue is the driving force behind the bar and it’s warm and inviting atmosphere, Tony brings a sharp sense of humour and chat that is unmatched. Serena currently represents Australia in the U21s rowing team and Shannon works in finance and has a passion for good food and wine.
